Thanks to this app, you offer your customers the possibility to choose how they wish to receive their parcel: at home or at the office, at one of the 1,100 collection points, or at the new bpack 24/7 parcel machines.

Moreover, you no longer need to enter the details yourself in the bpost back-office to process your shipments. The information is automatically stored in the parcel carrier's system. You can simply log in via www.bpost.be, select the shipments to be sent, and click on print in order to obtain the labels. The application can also be used to return shipments. This means a better user experience and also increased efficiency.

Please note: in order to be able to use this application, you should have a contract of at least 250 parcels with bpost.

How to install?

  • Enter your correct bpost Account ID and Passphrase in

    • See e.g. the example screenshot below, but don’t copy the sample details, rather use your own details
    •    
    • There is a difference between the "passphrase" required for the use of bpost’s Shipping manager and the "password" which you need for logging into bpost’s portal

  • Check the link(s) with the shipping method(s) on EasyWebshop which were added by you

You don’t need to set anything else. The app will automatically forward the Confirmation URL and the Error URL.

Optional

  • EasyWebshop hasn’t inserted any commercial names into the software, otherwise the list of possible methods would become too long. Optionally, you can add the shipping method Shipment by bpost (under "Settings > Shipment Costs") and link it to the bpost app.
  • In the back-office of bpost, you can set the shipping costs separately per shipping method under Admin > Delivery methods > Euro sign.
  • The shipping methods and shipping costs can be set at both EasyWebshop and bpost. This can sometimes lead to confusion. The easiest way is to link the bpost app to Default shipping. (Settings > Apps > Installed apps > bpack)

    In the bpost pop-up, the customer can select a shipping method that bpost offers. The shipping costs (depending on the selected shipping method) are automatically linked to the order in the online shop.

    The shipping costs you have set within bpost are given priority over the shipping costs that you have set within EasyWebshop.

  • Your customers can complete their order without completing  the bpost procedure. It is not obligated because customers sometimes get trapped in the pop-up, leading to failed orders. If you enter the keyword ShippingAppObligated in the field Extra parameters, your customers will be obligated to complete the shipping app.

Possible problems

Error 2000 or error message: can't find the server at shm-fro-pr.netpost

Possible cause: Inactive account with bpost

In order to be able to work with the integration of our tool in EasyWebshop, it is necessary to sign the license agreement with Bpost.

Log intowww.bpost.be > Shipping Manager (grayed out as long as the above wasn’t carried out by us) > Admin > Edit (paintbrush) > General settings.

Possible cause: Pricing not yet set within bpost

Please also note that you still have to set the pricing for the different delivery methods via admin > delivery methods. Enter a price for bpack@home, @bpost & 24/7, as well for @world, if you also wish to ship internationally.

Once you have created these settings, you can easily start your shipments, which will arrive automatically.

Possible cause: Entered incorrect Account ID or Passphrase

These details can be found in your bpost account and should match the details stated under "Settings > Apps" on EasyWebshop:
Parameter 1: bpost Account ID
Parameter 2: bpost Passphrase

It is important that this information submitted by bpost has been entered correctly, otherwise bpost's shipping manager won’t be able to identify your online shop, and as a result an error message will appear.

The country is not set in bpost’s backend.
